How Septic Response collects, uses and protects your information.

Last updated November 7, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information Septic Response LLC (“Septic Response”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit septicresponse.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the information you give us when you call, text, email or request service.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and service requests: when you use our contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), your message and the page you sent it from.
  • Calls, texts and emails: when you contact us directly we receive your phone number or email address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your property address and details about your septic system.
  • Service records: when we work on your property we keep records of the service, such as the address, system type, work performed and reports filed with the county health department.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use it and to measure our advertising. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the website or ad that brought you here, and actions such as tapping our phone number or submitting the contact form.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and schedule, perform and follow up on service
  • To send service reminders, such as when your tank is due for pumping or inspection
  • To file required reports with King County or Snohomish County
  • To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse
  • To understand which pages and ads are useful, and improve our website and advertising
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

Services we use

We use trusted service providers to run our website and business. They only receive the information they need to provide their service:

  • Website hosting and email delivery: our website host and email providers store and deliver contact form messages.
  • Google Analytics: helps us understand website traffic. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: protects our contact form from spam. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Advertising partners: we advertise on Google and on ChatGPT (OpenAI). Their measurement tools may record when someone who saw or clicked our ad later contacts us. Some of these tools can match a form submission to an ad using information that is encrypted (hashed) in your browser before it is sent.
  • Customer management tools: we may keep customer contact details and service history in business software, such as a CRM, to schedule work and send reminders.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, with county health departments when reports are required, or when required by law.

Your choices

  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
  • Analytics: you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Ads: you can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings and in your ChatGPT settings.
  • Reminders and marketing: you can ask us at any time to stop sending service reminders or other messages.
  • Access, correction or deletion: you can ask us what personal information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep some records, such as service records and county reports, where the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep contact requests and customer records for as long as we need them to provide service and keep accurate system history, and as required for legal, tax and county reporting purposes. Spam submissions are deleted.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website, spam protection and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
