How often should I pump my septic tank?
Most households need pumping every 3 to 5 years. Tank size, the number of people in the home and garbage-disposal use all change that. We measure sludge and scum on every visit and tell you when the next pumping is due.
How long does septic pumping take?
About an hour on site for a typical home, longer if the lids are buried deep or the tank needs to be located first.
Do you file the pumping report with the county?
Yes. We file it with the county health department after every pumping, so you don’t have to.
